Who is CLST Markets for?
CLST Markets is aimed to help financial institution meet their digital asset liquidity needs.
We currently do not serve entities registered in the US nor US residents.
Why should I join CLST Markets and what’s the difference between a lending desk?
CLST Markets is an institutional peer to peer communication, price discovery and matching application that maps the entire loan cycle for digital assets. We are fundamentally different from a lending desk as we are a technology solution, not a financial intermediary.
Is CLST a prime broker or am I able to select counterparties on my own?
CLST does never act as intermediary, and you are free to select your counterparties. The venue offers whitelisting capabilities connected to user roles such as “Risk Manager” to ringfence your network.
What are the average transaction sizes and rates on CLST Markets?
As the network operates peer to peer, transaction sizes and rates are very individual and agreed on a case by case basis by both lender and borrower.
Whats the difference between CLST Markets and a DeFi protocol?
CLST Markets does not operate on smart contracts or protocols and therefore categorizes as CeFi application. Loans are usually ruled through master loan agreement between lender and borrower, the application provides tools to share and process those.
Do I have to deposit funds on CLST Markets?
The venue has inbuilt wallet connectivity, allowing you operate within your standard custody setup. Settlement happens directly from lender wallet to borrower wallet and never through CLST.
Who is eligible to join CLST Markets and how much does it cost?
CLST Markets is institutional only and therefore restricted to retail users. We currently don’t serve entities registered in the US. Joining the network is free of charge but CLST takes a annualized commission from the borrower on the transactional volume for secured loans.
How am I able to get access, can I get a demo of the venue?
Reach out to us to schedule a demo. After applying for access, we check eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
